Daggubati Purandeswari, assistant minister of human resources, Government of India, is the most competent leader, who deserves to be the next chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. After the sad demise, of Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhar Reddy, she is the most eligible successor for the post.
Indian prime minster Dr. Manmohan Singh described Mrs. Purandewari as one of the “finest minds” of his cabinet and says he is proud to have her in his government. According to Dr. Manmohan Singh, Mrs. Purandeswari is a leader that any nation can be proud of. If Smt. Purandeswari becomes Andhra chief minster, she will revolutionze Indian politics and will lead the state and the country into a new era and a positive direction.

Pictures of YSR's tragedy

These are the photos of the tragedy of Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhar Reddy, late chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. Dr.Y. S. Rajasekhar Reddy died in a helicopter crash in Nallamala forest in Kurnool district of Andra Pradesh on September 2, 2009. He and his helicopter along with 4 more people including 2 pilots were missing for about twenty four hours after the helicopter left from Begumpet Airport at 9 AM. Around 9:30 AM the helicopter lost touch with the air traffic control while flyging over Nallamala forests. Then the rescue teams including more than 10 helicopters and 5 thousand army men searched the Nallamala forests in vain. Then finally Russian made Sukhoy aeroplane of Indian Air Force was employed to trace out the helicopter. Next chief minister of Andhra Pradesh

Why should Jagan be made chief minister??
Is this a family business???
It is about the future of 8 crore people.

Is it because he inherits his father’s ‘property’?
As a son, Jagan inherits his father’s individual properties, not his chief minister-ship.
This is people’s state. It is not a family business.
When will these headless Indian politicians change?? All these senior cabinet ministers decided that they want Jagan as CM…. How foolish?? They don’t have self respect…. they have a typical cheap mentality of hero worship…. they want to show off their “loyalty” to Y. S. Rajasekhar Reddy by showing “sympathy”. Choosing a deceased chief minister’s son as heir to his seat is not the right way to sympathize…. Sympathy should remain at a personal level.
It should not be taken to this extreme extant of cheating the 8 crore people.
Nobody has the right to make such foolish decisions.

Sri Y.S. Rajashekar Reddy was democratically elected by the people because people felt that he is a capable leader because of his proven capabilities.
Giving away the seat to Jagan just because he is YSR’s son is betrayal to the people faith in the party.

I sincerely hope that the Indian Congress leaders will act maturely and choose a right leader as YSR’s successor and won’t give in to the emotional games of these petty politicians in the state.
It should be given to a leader of proven track record of selfless service to the people and capabilities.. Some one like Daggubati Purandeswari.

Purandeswari as next chief minister of Andhra Pradesh

After the sad and untimely demise of Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y. S. Rajasekhar Reddy in a helicopter crash, there are hardly any leaders in congress who can become chief minister.

I feel the right candidate is Daggubati Purandeswari. I will discuss more about it later.

Inaugural speech of Mrs. D. Purandeswari MoS HRD (HE) at the Second National Conference Of The Diabetes In Pregnancy Study Group India to be held at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad On February 10, 2007.

Swine Flu and H1N1 facts

Facts about Swine Flu and H1N1 Virus

The swine flu, or H1N1, is a common respiratory disease in pigs caused by Influenza type A.Swine flu rarely infects humans, but infection sometimes happens when humans come into direct contact with live pigs.
It is not possible, however, to get swine flu from pork or pork products.
Humans can spread the virus to other humans, causing occasional outbreaks.

It is important to know the facts about swine flu viruses.

How H1N1 swine flu is spread:
* Swine flu is spread from live pigs to people, from people to pigs,
and from person to person.

* People catch the flu through exposure to droplets from sneezing and coughing.
People may also come in contact with droplets by touching an infected surface,
article of clothing, or tissue.

H1N1 swine flu symptoms:

* Swine flu symptoms are similar to symptoms of the seasonal flu.
* Symptoms include: sudden onset of fever, tiredness, runny or stuffy nose, sore throat, coughing, body aches, vomiting, and diarrhea.

Diagnosing swine flu:
Swine flu can be diagnosed by a respiratory specimen in the first four-to-five days of illness,
or as long as seven days in children.
Specimens must be sent to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to be identified.

Preventing swine flu:
* Vaccines are available to prevent swine flu in pigs,
but there are no vaccines for flu shots to protect humans from getting swine flu.
Seasonal influenza vaccines help to protect humans from swine H3N2 viruses,
but not swine H1N1.

* The CDC still recommends vaccination as the best way to prevent against seasonal flu.
* For livestock workers, ventilation and hygiene is important to reduce exposure to
swine influenza viruses.
Workers should avoid touching the mouth, nose, and eyes and change clothes and
wash hands before leaving work.
Follow safety instructions posted at work sites.

* Cover your nose and mouth when sneezing and coughing.

* Wash hands frequently.

* Avoid touching your nose, mouth and eyes.

* Avoid contact with people who have the flu.

* Stay home if you become ill.

* Practice good health: get plenty of rest, exercise, manage stress, drink water,
and eat a good diet.

PRP Shobha Rani's vulgar comments on actress Roja

Shobha Rani, women’s wing chief of Chiranjeevi’s Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) behaved in a vulgar way abusing famous actress Telugu Roja.
This video shows her vulgar comments and Roja’s countering.

Following is a post of Cine actor and congress contestant Rajasekhar’s wife jeevitha in her blog rajasekharam. she vehemently attacked chiranjeevi and shobha rani.
jeevitha writes:

Reacting to my post against Chiranjeevi, PRP mahila president Shobha Rani addressed a press conference yesterday advising me to maintain decorum. I am aghast that of all the people Shobha Rani, who has the dubious honour of mudslinging Roja, should advise me on decorum and dignity. This is like a devil quoting scriptures. I don’t think I should learn to be dignified from Shobha Rani.

If this was the dirtiest election campaign ever, the credit should go to Shobha Rani. I am amazed that she thinks she is an example of decorum herself. It’s time the PRP leader did some introspection or is it a case of memory lapse? Wasn’t she the one who vilified Roja? I don’t want to repeat the objectionable comments and choicest abuses Shobha Rani hurled against the former actress. But calling an actor a club dancer and vamp character does not bring ‘shobha’ to both the smear campaigner and the party. Her abuse of Roja was not only aimed at lowering the dignity of the actor but the womanhood itself.
Perhaps, Shobha Rani doesn’t understand that her deeply personal allegations were aimed at a candidate’s most precious asset: her reputation. The comments are demeaning, objectionable and defamatory. But I wonder if Shobha Rani understands the difference between a personal slur and a legitimate political argument. What was ironic was that while High Court advocate Shobha Rani unleashed a vilification campaign against Roja, the advocate of samajika nyayam remained a mute spectator.
I want to ask Shobha Rani and Chiranjeevi if they respect film artistes and women at all? Does Chiranjeevi subscribe to Shobha Rani’s viewpoint on female artistes?
Every election campaign has its share of hard-ball political tactics, but nothing is more discomforting than a smear campaign.
My criticism and my husband’s criticism against Chiranjeevi was issue based and not personal. My husband Rajasekhar called Chiranjeevi a wolf in sheep’s clothing, something that even PRP leaders like Parakala Prabhakar have been calling though not in the same words.

Can Chiranjeevi silence the popular anger against him over the allocation of seats? Can Chiranjeevi deny that the party tickets were not sold? Can Chiranjeevi deny that party tickets were not given to undeserving candidates?
Parakala Prabhakar and Samaram went on record to say that the social justice concept was only an appealing mask. Katari Eswar Kumar, Kesineni Srinivas, Masala Eeranna, M Sudershan and a long list of others remarked that the PRP has metamorphosed into a film production centre where the party tickets were auctioned to the highest bidder. Why even Shobha Rani was quoted in the media alleging that injustice was done while allocating party tickets. Is this the ‘maarpu’ that Chiranjeevi envisaged for the state?

Economic recession affects your matriomonial prospects

The global recessionary trends have affected the young employees of the Indian software industry in Hyderabad in more than one way.
In matrimonial Utsav by Deccan Chronicle, parents of nubile girls expressed fear in marrying off their daughters to the hot-till-now IT professionals.

While on one hand it is has spelt job loss fear, on the other hand, the parents of brides-to-be are no longer in search of IT grooms for their daughters.
The global recessionary trends have certainly scared the parents of would be brides who have apprehensions about the fluctuating signs in the information technology sector.
